Creative Process

We worked closely with MEDAK to ensure that their software would be as useful to them as possible. Opened a test site where MEDAK employees could use the software throughout it’s creation and find a design and function that worked best for them. Through open communication and weekly meetings the application was built always with the customer in mind. The agile software process allowed for additions of helpful functionality and features throughout development.

Product Features

The application allows MEDAK to create an order and have the electronic billing and paper billing created for them. The web based software allows the user to access the system from any computer. We cut out some of the manual paperwork for them by allowing generation of CMS-1500 forms, delivery tickets, balance reports, patient statements, and inventory. These forms can be printed, or exported as pdfs or spreadsheets. We also applied a solution to allow HIPPA compliant electronic billing to be used.
